If your organization sells computers, office furniture or some other configurable item a Punchout Catalog may have been a challenge in the past. Greenwing Technology now supports configurable items so products can be sold as options or add-ons.
Let’s use a computer as an example, when a user buys a computer they can choose the memory, disk space, monitor size and many other options. Some options are simply a choice without a price change, others have a cost component associated with them. Both options can now be handled in your Punchout Catalog and managed by anyone on your staff via a simple web-based administrator.
Instead of being limited by a hosted catalog or CIF catalog, your full inventory of both standard and configurable items can be added to your Punchout Catalog.

By allowing both importing of items and editing via our web-based administration you have the maximum control over your inventory. All web-based changes are published immediately so there is no delay in adding items. Configurable items have the following attributes:
- Title – a short description of the item that is completely searchable
- Price – the additional cost for an item, if there is no cost change it can be set to 0.00
- SKU / Part Number – the product part number, used by the Punchout Catalog to send to the e-Procurement system
- UNSPSC – a categorization used by e-Procurement systems
- Unit of Measure – how the item is packaged, such as EA for Each and CS for Case
By using a Punchout Catalog you can now offer configurable items to all your eProcurement customers.
